Anyone tried the $10 injet cartridge refills at Walgreens? How long does
it actually take them to refill a cartridge? Do the cartridges work well?
I have a black HP 832 cartridge I'm tempted to try.

TIA

We just ran out of ink, and having just moved have no idea where our
extra carts. are so I will find out in the morning
if they refill them on sundays and everything else and let you know.
If you find out anything before I do let me know.

On a related note, I was in Wal-Mart yesterday and didn't see the Nu-Kote
remanufactured inkjet cartridges they used to sell. My only choice there
now seems to be the HP cartridges, which are quite expensive. I'll have
to see what Staples has in case the Walgreen refills don't work out.

I always buy mine online at places like 123inkjets.com. They're cheaper
than Walmart.

Ken,

I recently had my lexmark x75 carts refilled at walgreens and thay
work great! I had to wait until the next day because I came in late in
the day (after 9pm). As a result of this experience, at recent
community garage sale event I saw another x75 and bought it ($5)
thinking that at most I'll have to invest another $25 ($10 black and
$15 for color) and then have what amounts to a brand new printer.

No, a Lexmark printer, even if bought new, will always be a piece of
trash.

I don't know -- we had pretty good luck with this one at my last job:

http://www.lexmark.com/lexmark/product/home/423/0,6970,204816596_653293775_243391911_en,00.html

It printed really fast, it could do duplexing, hole punching, 11x17 paper,
it had a huge paper capacity (thousands of sheets), and a really huge output
capacity with multiple output trays. It wasn't perfect, but overall it was
pretty good.

I just got the carts for my HP 842C inkjet refilled at Walgreens (one
color, one b/w), I'm very pleased. Can't beat the price @ $25.00 for
both refills...

Since I posted, I got the 832 cart filled. Took a half hour. Haven't
tried it yet. Sounds like I'll be pleased when I do.
