I recently got married and am planning to move to a house. There are
lot of items I would like to sell online. I don't have the time to list
it on Ebay mainly since they are items like Futon bed/TV/tables etc. I
have already listed them on craigslist and the local usenet groups.

Are there any other venues where I can sell them to the local online
community (who are also looking for bargains)?

Thank you in advance for any help.

Why would a Futon bed take any longer to list on ebay than anything
else? Once you have the template set up, it takes about 2 minutes to
list something.

What nut would list a bed on eBay - packaging costs / time would far

You aren't "selling online". You are advertising online.

Hence you shouldn't think the only place to advertise is online.
Get those old style posters up at the local grocery store, and at the
YMCA if they have a bulletin board. Figure out who might be
interested, and find places they hang out and put up notices
there. So if you think university students might be interested,
then you find out where there are bulletin boards where they might
see them.

You could also put a classified ad in the paper, people lived
with that sort of thing forever.

Of course, since this is no different from a forsale in the
classified ads, you also have to give thought to whether someone
across town will make the trip to buy said items, or if you
are willing to deliver. That may factor in to where you put up
posters.

Hey, Shawn, read what she wrote. She said she already advertised on
Craigslist.
