The best thing is that I'll be doing the whole big room with only a quart of
latex paint! All you do is add three quarts of water to the quart of paint. The
latex then becomes a translucent glaze that allows the base coat to show through
a bit. It's drippy, so be sure to do the woodwork last and cover everything.
Another thing I really appreciated is that it was simple to do. It's not
supposed to cover everything, so you can just slap it on any old way. I did one
wall in about 10 minutes. It pretty much looks just like the decorator book,
too, which I'll admit surprised me. Anyhow, folks looking for redecorating ideas
that are easy and cheap, but which look really classy, might want to try it.
