Hi,

I used to have USA Datanet for an ISP, but they are getting out of
the ISP business, and sent us all over to Peoplepc. I don't like
Peoplepc so far. Too many ads I am paying $9.95 per month to watch,
and also too much banner on top using up the screen. no thanks.

USA Datanet was much better. Any ideas for a new bare bones / no ads
ISP ??

Thanks

aice

That depends a lot on where you live. Some areas have a local ISP that
offers basic connectivity for a low price. Try googling for your area
and see what turns up.

Check out LOCALNET if you can.
They're pretty much everywhaer.
Great service, newsgroups, $9.95/mo, no ads,
and $99 ( I think ) if you pay by the year.

There are many good and cheaper alternatives. Check out www.freedomlist.com,
an excellent site to find cheap internet access.

http://all2ez.net/ $4.95 month

not really bare bones, 2 emails, newsgroups- limited(by your
speed) warez/ multimedia, 5M personal webspace, local
numbers- even Gettysburg PA ;-)
used them for years with no problems.
200 hr rolling 30 day limit. timeout on idle.

Don't forget freedialup.org if you live in New England. It doesn't
get much better than free!
