I wish I had "Patience" when younger!

I never had a lot of "patience" until I reached my 40's.

Boy it is paying off big time!

Not just financially, but with relationships and other aspects of my life as
well.

Now I'm thinking back on when I was younger and some of the foolish things I
did because I wanted instant gratification and could not wait.

All I can say is there is a "pot of gold" waiting at the end of the
"patience trail". Not just material things, but good life things as well.

This is a bit abstract, but lately I will think about the facts, KNOW that
over a period of time something should happen [and now I can patiently wait
for that to happen], then wait and just like magic - poof! - there it is!

Patience is a good thing! Try it, you'll like it...

Its not just patience, the same thing applys to risk taking.

We appear to have evolved that way and thats why kids are used as cannon fodder in wars.

I didnt have to wait till my 40s to realise that.

And realise that some of my impatience before I realised that delivered benefits too.

Come to think of it, plenty get more impatient with age.

I know my dad did, particularly once he got past 75.
