This practice has cut my spam by more than 95%.
Of course, I did have to abandon a perfectly good email account...
Calling back to the USA I was only able to make one call. That is
because when you start using it,
they charge a 79 cent weekly service fee.
That fee is charged as soon as you use card first time.
So unless you make one really long call, that card is waste of time.
You gotta read all the fine print.
I like OneSuite.
Incredibly low long distance phone rates. As low as USA-Canada 1.9CPM!
Works as prepaid phone card. PIN not needed for calls from home or cell
phone. Compare the rates at https://www.OneSuite.com/ No monthly fee or
minimum. Use Promotion/SuiteTreat Code:
"FREEoffer23" for FREE time.
Altho from USA payphones there is a surcharge, there is NONE from
Canadian payphones.
That sucks big time. I agree with Notva, I like OneSuite too. Very good
service and they have service to and from Thailand (I think!). You can
check out rates. www.onesuite.com. I have used them four times to call
Japan and still have like 5 bucks on my 10 dollar account. My calls were
like 30 minutes or so. And, thanks for the warning on speedypin.

I'm liking talkloop.com more and more. 1.69CPM to Canada 1.9CPM to UK
and no spam flavored treats.
Now that respectable people all use cellphones (I say that tongue in
cheek), payphones and calling cards have really gone down the toilet.
I was forced to shop at a convenience store for a calling card recently,
and it was impossible. Over a dozen choices, none with complete
information about what you're getting. In the end, the one I bought
didn't even work. Of the dial-in numbers, only the Spanish one even
rang, but then I couldn't call through. So they got my $5 and I got
nothing.
In fact I had an equally bad experience with a payphone, which simply
ate my money because I didn't dial a "1" They're not AT&T anymore,
which is good and bad. It's bad when some fly-by-night company takes
your money.
