Dear Friend,
Almost three years ago I decided to take a leap of faith and write,
direct and produce a documentary exposing some of the problems with
the American maternity care system.
Even though I had never made a movie before, I thought a film would
be the best way to create awareness, inspire expecting couples, and
create change in our system.
It has been an overwhelmingly intense, complicated, challenging and
life-consuming mission. I want you to know that your emails; the
comments, the personal stories, the words of encouragement, the
gratitude, and even your simple act of signing our mailing list has
provided me with the courage, the support and the faith to see this
journey through.
I originally put the trailer online for the purpose of showing my
friends and family. But through word of mouth, awareness of the movie
spread and thousands of emails later, I would like to say to all of
you, THANK YOU! Thank you for believing in our project, thank you for
spreading the word of the film, and thank you for your continued
support.
