In a speech to the Knesset, George W. Bush mocked a long-dead U.S.
senator who was surprised at Adolf Hitler's invasion of Poland in
1939. But Bush might have used the occasion to apologize for his
family's worse misjudgment in profiting off the Nazi war machine.
