"Everybody is exposed to radiation. A little bit more or
a little bit less is of no consequence."
-- Dixy Lee Ray, former chairwoman of the Atomic Energy
Commission 1973-1975. Dr. Ray said this on Thursday,
December 30, 1993, in response to recent reports
detailing radiation experiments on unsuspecting
Americans.
Dixy Lee Ray died three days later (1/2/94) from
a severe bronchial condition she had for several
months. (Bronchial infection: a little bit
more or a little bit less is of no consequence, too,
I guess).
