Oh, rats. I missed the deadline for signing up as an organization. Not
sure who would sponsor us now...

This is what drives me crazy. Seems the only GSOC announcements are the
ones saying, "Hey everyone not part of the inner circle: Deadline has
passed!"

Yeah, lovely :)

I'm not sure what list you have to be on to find out these dates, but
I'm apparently not on it.

Anyone got a few thousand $ they'd like to contribute to fund some
students to work on Mirah? :D

GSOC could have been great, but we can raise our own funds for
MirahSOC, like last year we raised for RubySOC

I don't think any Ruby organizations were accepted into this years GSoC.
The rejection of Ruby projects is why RSoC was started. I hope RSoC
will be held again?

If I had known Mirah was interested in the regular GSoC I would of
posted. The GSoC blog has links to all the important dates.
