Hi Everyone,

I've got what I hope to be a simple question/problem. I have a
shortcut for mintty on my task bar and I bound it to control alt T
through the windows properties. When I press it without a terminal
open it opens up Mintty, as I'd like. However if I hit it again, it
just brings the previous terminal into focus when I want it to open a
new one. When I click on the shortcut it does open a new terminal. I'm
posting to Mintty, because when I tried with other programs this
wasn't an issue.

Is there some argument I can use or some simple way to make it always
open a new terminal?

Thanks

I've run in to this as well, it seems to be a Windows Explorer thing.
Using other Hotkey programs I don't have this issue.

I'm not sure of any command line arguments that can be used, but you
can hit Ctrl+F2 within mintty to start another terminal.

Cheers,

Chris
