The following is compilation of Mr. Sivapathasekharan on Ms. Subha's Interview today at Kalaignar TV
Tamil Heritage Foundtion VP Ms. Subashini - from Gernany was
interviewed which was telecast in Kalignar TV this morning at 8 am -
in " Sandhitha Velalayil "
That was a very good and informative interview.
The Interviewer questioned well to bring out whatever you wanted to project very well.
The interview commenced with formation of THF - WITH 3 key personalities - Dr. Kannan, Dr. Kalyanasundaram and yourself. Project Madurai's aim and accomplishments. Moving on to Mintamil and Tamil Heritage Foundation. With members being spectators till 2007 and then more active of late. Moderation details.
Objectives of T H F :
1. Collection of old manuscripts including those on palm leaves and digitalising.
2. Digitalising 60 yr old books to avoid copy right issues
3. digiatlising books when contacted by the Author or their family - without attracting copy right issues
4. Creating awareness for preservation of Cultural assets - including literatures , places of worships etc etc
5. Inculcating such awareness more among Students and Youth to carry on to future generation
On the inagural session of Heritage workshopon the 6th Dec, VC Tamil University extended support to T H F to work together in areas of common objectives.
Re Funding - no Institutional support as of now.
Allocation of timing between occupation and heritage activities : From the moment stepped into TN till boarding - every single minute is spent for TH activities relentlessly.
Meeting of Scholars like - Nagaswamy - Swaminathan - Narasayya ;
Students
visited Pattinathar Samadhi etc.
Looking forward to work together with other egroups and UTHAMAM in the forthcoming World Classic Tamil Conference in Coimbatore.

I am sure Dec 15th 2009 goes into record for the First Public Interview telecast re functioning of Tamil e-Group.
We take this opportunity to thank Subashini and Dr. Kannan and Andrew Peter Chennai for spreading awareness through Visual media re Cultural e-groups .
