அதுவொரு உதாரணம்தான்!
பலர் என்னிடம் கேட்கிறார்கள், வேலியில் போகும் ஓணானை ஏன் மடியில்
கட்டிக்கொள்கிறீர்கள் என்று! அப்படியெல்லாம் இல்லை. எந்த மனது
பக்குவப்பட்டது, எது இல்லை என்பதைக் காணுதல் கடினம். வள்ளுவன் சொல்வது
போல், ‘அவரவர் எச்சத்தால்’ மட்டுமே காணப்படும்!
ஆயினும் சாமர்த்தியமான கேள்விகளும்/பதிலும் உருவாக்க முடியுமா? எனுமொரு
முயற்சிதான். மின்தமிழ் நடத்துவது ஏதோ தமிழக அரசை நடத்துவது போல்
குழப்பம் முற்றியதாக மாறிவருகிறது :-))

ஒருவர் ஆரியரா / திராவிடரா, பிராமணரா / இல்லையா, ஆண் / பெண், வயது 8 / 80
என்றெல்லாம் நான் பார்ப்பதில்லை. ஒருவரது பெயரிலிருந்தோ /
பதிவுகளிலிருந்தோ நான் அவரை கணிக்க முயல்வதில்லை. எனது கேள்விகளுக்கு
பதில் கிடைக்கா விட்டால் பதில் தேடிக்கொண்டிருப்பேன்; பதில் கிடைத்து
விட்டால் அடுத்த கேள்வியைத் தேடிக் கொண்டிருப்பேன்.
கிரந்தம் பயன்படுத்துவதில் தவறில்லை, அதேசமயம் தேவையுமில்லை.
பிடித்தவைகள், தமிழ், தமிழிசை; நம்மை நேரடியாக பாதிப்பதால் அரசியல், மதம்
மீதும் கொஞ்சம் (ஊறுகாய் அளவு) ஆர்வம். இவை தொடர்பான பதிவுகளைப்
படிப்பேன்.
எனது தேடல்களுள் ஒன்று கடவுள்.
(ஒரு) இலட்சியம், தமிழில் இருக்கும் முந்நூறாயிரம் சொற்களையும்
பட்டியலிடுவது.
சமஸ்கிருதம் மேல் எனக்கு கோபம். இதற்கு கிடைக்கும் அத்தனை
புகழ்ச்சிக்கும் இது தகுதியானதா என்று ஒரு சந்தேகம் உண்டு. சமஸ்கிருதம்
கற்றுக் கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்ற ஆவலும் உண்டு. நான் கற்றுக் கொள்ள வேண்டிய
மொழிகளின் வரிசையின் முதலிலிருப்பது, சீனம் (mandarin).
இணைய குழுக்களிலிருந்து தெரிந்து கொண்டது, சரியான பதில் வேண்டுமென்றால்,
சரியான இடத்தில் சரியான கேள்வி கேட்க வேண்டும்.
எனக்கு மின்தமிழ் ஒரு பயனுள்ள பொழுதுபோக்கு.

So said Sir William Jones – the English Philologist who for the first
time in 1786 suggested in his book “The Sanscrit Language” that Greek
and Latin were related to Sanskrit and perhaps even Gothic, Celtic and
Persian languages were related to Sanskrit.
