VFS problems?

I move from the USB boot topic, because this seems to me not to a
problem related to USB.

Used qemu, with -hda /dev/sda.
Cdrom image boots, I use setup, choose the partition created with
gparted,
Setup talls me it creates 3 subpartitions for root home e usr...
And after that a long serie of

On the same pc (pavillion ze5700) the filesystem panics even with a
normal installation
(not so "normal" I installed minix3 in another notebook with a good
cdrom and after, swapped the 2.5" hd with the pavillion)
Minix complained something about no_dma_init variable(if I remember
well), but even setting it to 1 in the monitor it hangs (even if I
fear fs was before messed up by the first boot attempt).
Because of the painful way to reproduce the error (open notebooks and
swap hd) I will do it when someone tells me what informations are
exactly needed.
