Strange behavior during switching terminal

Hello, i am working in minix3 on VirtualBox. I used Host+Fx
combination to switch terminals but after this only I see is strange
symbols like in that screenshot

In VirtualBox on Mac OS X, I use "fn" + Alt + Fx to switch between
(virtual) terminals. On a keyboard without the "fn" key, this would
probably just be Alt + Fx. Does that work for you?

If those are appearing with this key sequences, then it's probably
fine. But if the symbols appear when you normal things, then you might
want to reboot MINIX. If you hold the shift or arrow keys together,
something like this can happen.
