I'd also like to add that Minix3 works great on VMWare Fusion on the
Mac. If you encounter errors such as:

VMware Fusion internal monitor error
*** vcpu-0:ASSERT vmcore/private/iospace_shared.h:558 bugNr=64440

on installation, simply remove the line:

pciBridge0.present = "TRUE"

(and any other similar lines like pciBridge1, 2, 3 etc.) from the .vmx
file. You can find the vmx file for a VMWare machine in ~/Documents/
Virtual Machines/<VM name>/ (again, this is for the mac version).
