Hi,
I think you should give more detailed information about your problem,
such as the when and how it fails, what is the output on the screen,
etc.

The computer constantly reboot or "hangs".
From this CD-disk the virtual machine (QEMU) system work successful!

Did you try serial output to test what happens?

Hi,

> The computer constantly reboot or "hangs".
> From this CD-disk the virtual machine (QEMU) system work successful!

How far does it get before rebooting? What gets printed to the
screen?

Is this after you upgraded using the SVN sources or re-installed using
the CD? In this first case, did you follow the instructions in doc/
UPDATING? In the second case, did the install CD itself boot?

If you use the r6363 boot CD (I have one here:
http://www.cs.vu.nl/~vdkouwe/minix3_1_7_ide_r6363.iso.bz2), try
hitting escape at the boot prompt, setting "verbose=2" and then typing
"boot". What is the last message that gets printed?

Also, it might be interesting to know what type of computer this is,
information such as brand, model and CPU (/proc/cpuinfo in Linux
IIRC).

With kind regards,
Erik
