no neurons but can see clear vessels

Hi all,

We are working on  motor cortex imaging using the miniscope in mice. We used Gcamp6. In some animals, I could see very clear vessels, but no neurons, even when animal was awake. Does this mean the virus has expressed?  Any possible reasons? The only thing I can do is wait??? We are observing very superfical cortex neurons.
