I have looked for a basic tutorial for flashing a mini2440 on linux,
however I have not been able to find one. Can anyone recommend a
guide? On the friendly arm website there is software package known as
"usbpush", unfortunately without much documentation.

Cheers, Max

Hi Max,

I have a good documentation in my personal blog, but unfortunately it
is only in portuguese. Maybe you can try to translate to English using
Google translator.

By "flashing a mini2440" I assume you mean loading U-boot, the kernel,
and a root file system into NAND flash. I have a minicom script that
does that and sets a few useful U-boot environment variables.

Hi Max,

Sorry for the delay in responding. I'm on the road right now.
Finished up a class in Phoenix yesterday and drove to Tucson this
afternoon. Anyway, I packaged up the two script files along with a
readme into an archive, but I can't figure out how to upload it to the
group. Perhaps the group manager can enlighten me.

In the meantime, I'll send you a private reply with my email address.
If you reply to that, I'll send you the archive.

DigitalWiz:

I would also like to look at your minicom script to find an easier way
to set the variables, could you post or email me the script?

Thanks!
