On all the Windows MincraftEDU servers, if I set the server memory above 1024 and try to run the server I get the following error:
Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine
Error: A fatal exception has occured. Program will exit.

I have re-installed JAVA and updated to the newest. Any ideas why?
Thanks!

Hi Mike,

I'm not expert on MinecraftEDU, but I do know a bit about getting Java servers to run.  Could you,

(1) Send the full command line that you are using to set the memory above 1024M?
(2) Send the output of running "java -version"
(3) The output of running "systeminfo" -- only need top stuff before the huge list of installed hotfixes

Regards,

Dave.

Unfortunately that is a issue that we still haven't tracked down. Bumping it up in our priority list and having another look next week!
