What I got out of this movie is that expensive soap is likely the
product of lipo-suctioned arses, so stick with Ivory!
But really, have seen it many times, would put it on my top 10 faves.
No it did not make me think about my life and what I am doing with it,
it did bring me much enjoyment though. It took much more soul
searching and life experience to figure out my "purpose". Actually, I
believe I am still learning and will continue to do so in this life
and the next.
Lee- I agree with you that each person perceives art differently. I
think that is the beauty of being human. We can think and act/react
independently and with what "makes sense" to us.
Mr Thomas- Your point about no one being "special". I do agree that
this is true, but it was not this movie or any other that brought me
to the conclusion. It's called being alive - and in the world, living
life. Do not misinterpret the meaning of "special" though. To me, it
simply means that you are no better that your fellow man, this is not
a contest. Every form of life has meaning and value, one is not more
important than the other.
