Are you interested in combining urban agriculture, art, and technology into a "SoundGarden" project to continue to make Milwaukee great?  Excited about bringing people together towards common goals?  This project is a collaboration between the Martin Luther King Drive Business Improvement District (BID), MSOE, UWM, Career Youth Development Milwaukee, Hacker Scouts, and hopefully, the Milwaukee Makerspace.  As part of the King Drive BID's Victory Park urban ag / art revitalization project, the "SoundGarden" will be a central focal place of multi-sensory interest and excitement!  The idea is to convert environmental inputs (ambient sensors, interactive sensors, etc.) into visual and audio representations using Arduino, FLORA, etc.  If you're feeling really adventurous, you could even incorporate some water elements.  This project is funded primarily by MSOE.  Once established at Victory Park, the core system would be replicated (under your leadership and guidance!) across the city, possibly also in partnership with the Victory Garden program.  A prototype has been created using the Processing programming language and the Pure Data Extended (PD-Extended) visual programming environment to which you would have full access, though could feel free to take this in any direction.  What a great opportunity to lead this very important city wide revitalization project!

For ideas, surely there are many other similar urban garden projects around the world...one similar idea is the Maquina Fountain project at UW-Madison COE:

Hope to hear from you soon.

Tell me more about how this is organized and what skills you are looking for. I could help as a project manager. I have a background managing software development and do a bit of art and gardening as hobbies.
