Subject: Re: [MakerSpace] MKE 3D Printing Meetup- Routine Schedule

Jesse,

I think the Sunday at 1:00pm works as well as any other time...

We might also want to consider doing it at the new Milwaukee Makerspace location when it's possible.

But yeah, feel free to schedule the next one and invite everyone. The first one was great, the second one only saw about 5 printers, which was a little disappointing, but summer is a tough time for meetups.

I think it's about time we revise the strategy of the MKE 3D printing meetup. My thoughts are to make this a routine meetup, something like the first Sunday of every month at Bucketworks. That way we can all plan far out into the future since it never changes, and we can draw in more 3D printing enthusiasts in the area if they know when/ where to expect it each month. Consistency seems to be the key, without it we all became too busy to plan September's meetup, especially myself.

A new manufacturing space just opened up at Bucketworks, and I think this would be an ideal location for the printers and the community. I also think it'd be a great opportunity to get some more collaboration between the hackers Bucketworks and the Makerspace. Also, I believe Sunday's at 1pm seem to work equally well for everyone, am I wrong?

I'll bring this up at BarCamp this weekend and try to have a final consensus by the end of the sessions on Sunday. Any thoughts? Do Sundays work well?

Jesse
