Maximum cutting height of band saw?

What is the maximum cutting height of band saw?

I've got a friend who needs help with a project (cutting a wooden bowl into sections) and I'm wondering if the band saw is the best tool for this task... And if not, what are the other options?

We may be in Thurs night, or over the weekend, to give it a shot.

13-5/8 in throat depth and 6 in cutting capacity height.

me AGAIN....let me help you with that, especially if you're asking about max. cutting height.  I've cut 6" x 6 laminated hardwood blocks on a more powerful saw and had to go VERY slowly...Thursday nite you say?

I am only checked out on the second one, not on yours... would you be around the space tomorrow night (or Sat/Sun) or would someone checked out on it be to help out with the cuts?

Let me find out the details from my friend... as far as the size of what he is cutting, and what day he can make it.

And yeah, I'm 100% fine with you doing the cut and me getting educated at the same time.
