Makers! It's time to share... what have you been hacking on or making?

Reply to this email with a brief run-down of whatever projects have
been keeping you busy, either at the space or elsewhere.

reMMinderbot thanks you!

Besides the small misc utilitarian items pouring out of the Max, I'm starting to re-focus on the 4'x8' CNC - right now just in BOM planning stages. I have about $1200 to make something happen.

I just finished printing the parts for a camera slider, which should go well with the 30" smooth rods and linear bearings that showed up last week.

If it all works well, I may add an Arduino and servo to do some controlling of the slides. (And maybe... time lapse!)

Looking at different 3D design tools for making the parts for the Violin. Sketchup doesn't really cut it and I need to touch up the Violin Peg to be more accurate to the original peg.

Circling back and working on some web stuff for the Makerspace app and Marco

Need to laser cut a Raspberry Pi case

Testing out some shade locking options for OOMA to connect to the base securely.

I made my first "production run" of five (5!) automated gmail assistant buttons.  I'll set up an Etsy store and publish the already-written blog post soon.

Finally getting very close to my final prototype design for MagneTag.  Going to try and make another one for the meeting so we can have some duels.

After trying out my invention I decided it was awesome.  So now I'm working on ideas for a coil winding machine so I can go into production.  I think I'll borrow Czpar's idea of cutting some PVC pipe.

Sent a part out to get test printed by a couple of 3D stalwarts, thanks guys, and continued the design phase for my crowd funding project.

If elected president, I will push to adopt MagneTag as the official voting mechanism of the Milwaukee Makerspace!  The people or issues to be voted for will be shot with magnet enabled nerf darts, and the score will be automatically tallied!

Sent from my mobile telephone device.

I like it. We shall call it a John-Wilkes Voting Booth.

What..... too soon?

That is the best idea since the backwards nerdy derby. You should have declared that before I voted for your opponent.
