A friend of mine is doing an event called "Red, White & Black: 100
Square Feet of Art" as a fundraiser to help pets in need.

The event is modeled on the old Eisner Museum 250 Square Feet of Art,
and it works like this:

1. volunteer to create a piece of art 12" x 12"
2. get a 12" x 12" board from Tiffany at While You Were Out Pet Sitting
Service
3. make some awesome art
4. return the board to Tiffany
5. feel good about yourself

The art is auctioned off at the event and 80% of the proceeds are
donated back to the community and animals.

Here's more info:

I probably can't make it to the event, but I'll still be donating a
piece of art... if anyone else wants to as well, let me know and I'll
get in touch with Tiffany to get a bunch of boards.

I probably won't make it there either, but I'd be happy to do a little
12x12 for a good cause.

Could you pick me up a piece when you go?

Brent, Shane.... thanks!

Brent, if Tiffany can give you a few boards, that would be great... otherwise I have some of the 11.75" x 11.75" in my locker we could use.

Anyone else? It's totally free-form, just create a piece of art on a board and submit it. It can be a table-top piece, or go on a wall, or whatever.

You can even attach surgical tubing, knife blades, and light bulbs to it!
