The New Milwaukee Makerspace!

Hello Members, Friends, and Makers!

We've just made the public announcement about the move:

There are a lot of details beyond what you'll read in the post (and yes, please share that post across your networks!) but we'll have much more info at this week's meeting Tuesday night at 7pm, including information on cleaning, packing, and tossing things out at Chase.

This is an exciting time, and while we know everyone is always busy with their own personal projects, this is the biggest group project we've ever done--moving everything we have into a new space. There's also a lot of work to be done at the new space, and we'll be asking for volunteers in the next few weeks.

And for those of you who are not members, we could use your help too! If you've come to our open nights, or had members help you with projects, you can always pay us back by helping us clean, pack, and transport heavy object. :)

It's going to be a lot of work, but in the end we're going to have an AMAZING space, with a bright future for the makers of Milwaukee.

For those of us who can't make it to the meeting, please keep us posted
as things develop (I'm highly tempted to skip class for this one...).

I'm amazed that we've grown from 50 to 70 members in what seems like no
time at all. This is going to be an awesome space.
