This is mostly for Dennis but might also useful for anyone using the laser cutter...

I saw this bit: "The laser cutter tries to draw all lines that are wider than about 0.001" by repeatedly over-drawing the line to get it wide enough. This is almost never what you want..." and wondered if that's what happened last night. I ended up making sure the file I converted had 0.002" line width, btw...

I should probably do a new write-up of my Inkscape process.

I was mentioned there is a website with some templates to create those more 3d puzzle-type objects..
 i.e that acrylic ant that sits on top of the computer, and also i believe there is a cut-out of a scorpion on the wall?

does anyone know of this, or could possibly provide a link??
