GIS Day at UWM November 14th

Hey MDI members! I'm doing a "rotating session" in the afternoon. We also have been offered a table to display info about MDI. WOuld be a good opportunity to show how data helps universities and government. The response I got is below.

What are YOUR ideas for how GIS be better benefit universities and government?

Would it be ok if we switch you to an afternoon rotating session?  We're trying to even out the number of sessions in the morning and the afternoon, and we have several presenters who are also offering an afternoon workshop, so need to present in the morning.
Also, we wanted to offer you a vendor table to promote the Milwaukee Data Initiative.  There is no cost to be a vendor, and the table does not need to be staffed continuously.

Great! I hadn't thought about MDI at GIS day. I was planning to
offer a couple of sessions and do an Ignite talk, but it looks like I
may have to go to DC to present a workshop that week...Glad you will
represent Matt!

Speaking of represent... If you've got examples of how GIS data is being used in Milwaukee, that would be a great showcase during the event.
