Sorry this is very late, but I wasn't able to check my mail from Scooter until right now.
IMPORTANT NEWS!
The Toys for Tots Ultimate jam has been postponed! The new date is Saturday December 8th.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for Sat. Dec. 1st. Snow in the morning turning to sleet in the afternoon and rain in the evening. They recommend you stay home unless you absolutely have to travel in afternoon. That's why we're going to try it again next week.
All the other details remain the same.
We apologize for any inconvenience. This is the first time in 19 years we've had to postpone the event. A pretty good run of luck, really.
We hope to see everyone on the 8th.

The Milwaukee Ultimate Club is proud to announce the 19th annual Toys for Tots Ultimate Jam will be held on Saturday December 8th at the Pioneer Bowl in Richfield, WI. This is a charity event to benefit the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves' Toys for Tots program through donations of toys/cash and a charity auction. We are nearing $30,000 in total contributions over the years.
Players from Wisconsin and Illinois will play one (or two) continuous games throughout the afternoon. You can play on any team at any time for as long as you want. There will be live music, food, and beverage specials in the bar (right next to the fields). If you are a musician feel free to bring your instrument and jam with the house band.
Here's what you need to bring:
1. Brand new unwrapped toy worth $10-15 or cash (they get wholesale pricing, so cash is good).
2. A black AND a white T-shirt to play in (no gray shirts please).
3. Money for the auction (you can't bid on it if you can't pay for it).
4. A positive holiday party attitude.
What you get:
1. Two lighted fields for as long as we want.
2. Beverage specials in the bar: $1 off any beer/soda pitcher. $6.50 for (2) games of bowling + shoes.
3. Loads of fun.
4. A warm fuzzy feeling for helping out disadvantaged kids.
Schedule:
10:00 am: Disc golf at Dretzka Park. Meet at the first tee.
10:30 am: Pioneer Bowl opens.
Noon: Sign-in.
12:30 pm: First pull.
3:00 pm: Live music featuring Brother Tom Mac (guitar/vocals) and Dave Henry (percussion).
5:00 pm: Charity auction. Discs, t-shirts, bar paraphanelia, and at least (1) yellow "haz-mat" suit. If you have something cool for the auction please bring it.
6:00 pm: More music and fun.
2:30 am: Pioneer Bowl closes.
Directions:
From the Zoo Interchange take Hwy 45 north from Milwaukee to Hwy 167 West (Holy Hill Rd). Go west on Hwy 167 about 1/2 mile to the stop sign (Hwy 175). Go north (right) a couple hundred yards and the Pioneer Bowl (big white building) is on the left (west) side of the road.

The Pioneer Bowl is a family rec center with bowling, video arcade, darts, pool, and a grill (pretty good bar food) with weekly specials. This is a kid friendly environment (there is a jungle gym outside if the weather is nice). See above for drink/bowling specials.
Remember: this is not the place in Germantown where we held the first 17 Ultimate Jams. It is 5 minutes north of that.
There are hotels at the Hwy 167 East exit (Lannon/Mequon Rd) 5 minutes south if you need a room. If you are an outdoorsman there is a new Cabela's at the Hwy 41/45 split just 3 minutes north.
This event will happen rain, snow, or shine. Last year we had 8-10" of fresh snow. We've also had upper 40's and sunny. No matter what we WILL play (barring another storm warning).
