The Milwaukee Ultimate Club needs you to help save our Polo fields!!!!

Greetings all,

 

We have a very important job that must be done this weekend. How well we do will help determine if the Milwaukee Ultimate Club can continue to use the Milw Polo Club's fields.

 

As you all know we had the worst weather ever for a Cooler Classic this August. What you may not know is that significant damage was done to the polo fields and our club is now faced with several thousand dollars worth of repairs and restitution.

 

For our part of the repairs we must fill in the divots on the fields (light work but time consuming). The bad news is it must be done this weekend to coincide with the aeration of the polo fields. We found this out last Friday.

 

We are looking for 30-40 people for 7 hours but we'll take you for as many hours as you can spare. We also need shovels, trowels/scoops, rakes, wheelbarrows, and buckets to carry dirt (5 gallon ones would be great). Heck, a gallon pail and a cup will work.

 

We will work this Saturday (October 20th) from 10am to 5pm rain or shine. If we don't finish we'll work the same hours on Sunday (Packers have a bye). The club will provide water/refreshments at the fields and afterwards we'll head to Marty's for pizza.
