Hey everyone, we are looking for some additional people to help out with the beginner league this Thursday.  The details are below.  If you want to bring a beginner as well, that'd be great.  If you just want to come this week for the clinic night (7:30-9:30), we'll waive any fees.

If you're interested, just reply to this e-mail or show up on Thursday.  See you there!

Charlie

Please show up early for the first week to pay your fees, meet your team, warm-up, etc.

Please bring a white and a dark t-shirt to your games.  Captains will flip for colors before the games.  Gray and Yellow are not good colors for Ultimate in any way, so be sure that you follow the above rule.

You MUST pay if you want to play.
I know that this is said before every league, but it will be strictly enforced in this league.  Absolutely no exceptions.  If you don't pay, you will have to wait until you do so before you can play.

Cost:  $20 for the league ($15 for students and MUC members).  Checks should be made payable to "Milwaukee Ultimate Club."  You must pay the night of your first game – before you play.

If you wish to join the Milwaukee Ultimate Club (Please keep in mind that all 2007 memberships have expired), dues are $25 or $15 for students. You get discounts on club sponsored events, leagues, merchandise, and a killer annual banquet. Plus you help to promote the sport of Ultimate in southeast Wisconsin.

Any players paying after the second week of play will be accessed a $5 late fee unless they notify the league directors of their absence.

You must have signed a waiver this year in order to play.

Please Print, Sign, and Bring your waiver with you.
Over 18 Waiver:

Under 18 Waiver / Parental Consent Form:

Location:
The Milwaukee County Sports Complex. (6000 W Ryan Rd.)

Take I-94 to Ryan Rd. Go west to 60th St (there is an industrial park to the south) and turn north on 60th. The road dead ends at the Sports Complex. If you are coming from the west you could also take Hwy 100 south through Hales Corners. Eventually it turns eastbound and becomes Ryan Rd.

League Schedule:
Due to the fact that this is a beginner league, and we don't have the numbers to fill out four full teams, we're going to do something a little different this time around.  This Thursday, we've got the space from 7:30 to 9:30.  For the first hour or so, we're going to do a clinic - both beginners and experienced players are desired for this, so the more experienced people can help out the beginners.  The rest of the time will be spent playing.  The next three weeks will be games from 7:30 to 8:30.  For teams, each week we will draw names out of a hat to put the teams together.  If you want to be on the same team as your buddy each week, that will not be a problem, just let us know either way at the beginning of the night before we put together the teams.

So the schedule looks like this:
March 13: 7:30-9:30
March 20: 7:30-8:30
March 27: 7:30-8:30
April 4: 7:30-8:30
April 11: Make up date if needed (we may be able to get an extra week in, depending on the facility's schedule)
