[MilVinMoto] Crud movie and party

The premiere of the Slimey Crud documentary movie is this Saturday in
Madison, for any of you who want to make a two-day event out of the
Crud ride. They will also be showing the film here in Milwaukee on
June 3rd at the Times (where I did the Cafe Society screening this
past January). Here is additional info from the film's director:

Good evening fans of "American Cafe"!


We're less than week away from the world premiere at Sundance Cinemas
Madison so I wanted to take a minute or two to update you on what's
happening next.


Of course the big news is that we're only a week away from the Slimey
Crud Motorcycle Gang Cafe Racer Run! We'll be there and we hope to
see many of you as well. If you're coming pop a photo of the bike you
plan to bring on our Facebook page and we'll keep an eye out for you!


As you may know the premiere screening of American Cafe is sold out,
so we added a second screening the same day at The Barrymore Theater
(graciously sponsored by the Sprecher Brewery), also in Madison, WI.
At the moment tickets are still available for this screening so if you
would like to attend we recommend getting your tickets soon!


There will also be an after-show party at The Barrymore and audience
from both shows are welcome to attend. In addition there will be
three blocks of "motorcycle-only" parking reserved on the street in
front of The Barrymore for those of you arriving on two wheels.


If you can't make the Madison show or if it's simply more convenient
we have also added a screening at The Times theater in Milwaukee, WI.
This show will be on Thursday, June 3rd and tickets can be purchased
in person at the theater or online here.

I went to see the American Cafe movie in Madison on Saturday. If
you've someone who has done the Crud run over the years (or have just
the heard stories about it) you would probably find the movie
interesting - I really enjoyed it. The part about the two guys
building bikes for the run was a little cheesy, but the interviews
with the original members and the history of the club and the run were
great. I'll definitely be going to see it again when it's at the
Times on June 3.

Just a reminder that the Milwaukee screening of "American Cafe" - the
story of the Slimey Crud - is tomorrow night at the Times Cinema on
Vliet Street in Wauwatosa. More info at the producer's web site
below.
