Subject: MR8_MU - Not for Faint-Hearted!
Over the past six months I have been making a new system based on the
expirence of MR8 and DR8 but incorporating newer programming
techniques, a new database, a new hand held and a new compiler.

The new system will allow a much larger number of customers, stock
items and a multi user a aspect which will give the possibility of
giving your customers access to statements and orders/cancellations
over the internet.

It has been a big change, although as a single user system it looks
and works like the existing systems. I now need help, ideally from
users who are experienced computer and MR8/DR8 users, to test the new
system to check its functionallity before it is released to real
users.

The ideal testers should have the internet and be tenacious in testing
for, and reporting, bugs.  I need to answer the question will it do
what you do now? and is it good enough?

Initially the system would run alongside their existing system.

If you fancy giving it a go, please reply to this email, Please reply
direct to me, NOT to the whole of the user group.

Steve
