I am now charging for out of hours support.
As you know I have been doing support free of charge. Alas, this has
been abused on several occasions by people calling at very un-social
hours, often with very trivial questions. They thought I offered a
free 24hrs service. I don't.
I regard any calls by established users* outside the normal office
hours of 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday as "Out of Hours".
I will make a charge of £30.00 for the first hour of support and £30
for the next hour or part thereof.
Emails that are marked Urgent should qualified by Urgent (Out of
Hours) if they need an immediate response.
I am sorry to have to make this charge but just as you make a charge
for delivering milk I now have to make a charge for delivering what I
hope is an excellent service.
*Users having used the system for more than 6 months.
