CRITICAL!!! TIME CRITICAL!!!
Hi Folks!
My late 1944 WC51 was used in the movie Shutter Island. (See the
trailer at <
www.Shutterisland.com>. The movie was filmed here in New
England last year. I received a call from a studio doing some post
production work and shots for Paramount and they wanted to know if I'd
be willing to let them bring the vehicle out to LA for the needed
shots. I'm in NH.
I gave them the particulars of what would be required to get my
truck and me out there and they pointed out that they were NOT
Paramount and there was no way they could spend that type of money.
They had looked for one out there but had no luck due to rust, vehicle
not running or owners not wishing to repaint a vehicle to the color of
my truck (Gillespie 33070 ). They just need to shoot the back end of
the truck driving away from a 20 foot outdoor model of the hospital.
No talent (aka Leo or Ruffalo) involved.
They need to do this on or by the 29th or 30th of this month.
My truck as used in the film can be seen here
http://news.webshots.com/album/562599661ROwTvq It did not have any
stars or numbers on it for the filming while some of the others did.
My WC51 had Leo and Ruffalo in it for the opening sequences going from
the dock up to the 'facility' and driving by the cemetery. Click on
the albums tab for other albums involving the movie.
If you have a late war WC51 (or a WC52, after all its supposed to
be an ass shot) and can meet the above criteria drop me a line ASAP
with contact numbers and info and I'll pass it along to them.
Send the info direct to me at rojohaATcomcast.net Replace the AT
with @ .
Thanks, Ronzo
