Is there any planned support for SA 0.5? I have a client who needs
it...

I plan to look into this myself, but I need to know what kind of
backwards compat you expect in this project. Should I create a 0.5
branch?

cheers.

Backwards compatibility would be nice to have but we could drop it and
add SA 0.5 to the requirements. SA 0.4 users can still used one of the
released versions and we could backport new features to the 0.4.x
bugfix branch if there is a need for SA 0.4 compatibility.

You can create SA 0.5 compatibility in the trunk (please keep the unit
tests working).

I assume no one was working on this, so I just committed changes to
trunk to support sqlalchemy 0.5. All the tests pass, but it could use
more testing.

Hi Christian,

Chris Perkins started to work on 0.5 support, but your commit is very welcome.

I just added a --declarative option to create_model, so that it will
dump a Python version of your database using sqlalchemy's new
declarative.declarative_base stuff.

Cheers,
Christian
