Tonight's topic is Practical HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
If you are brand new to HTML/CSS and have NOT worked through the Code Academy Web Fundamentals track, please at least get through the first couple of sections so you won't be completely lost. You don't have to finish the entire track, and don't let a lack of knowledge prevent you from showing up tonight.

When you arrive for the meeting tonight there will be an assignment ready for you. You'll have until 8:30 PM to complete the assignment and then we'll discuss the results among the group. You'll be able to work solo or as a team. I'll help you through anything you get stuck on but this will mostly be your project.
Since we had a low turnout for GitHub at the last meeting, if anyone would like to go over or work through the GitHub tutorial I can help with that as well.
