Making a call for an informal Lan Party...

Tentative date Oct 6th at 4:30pm - till last person standing, after class hours.....

Bring your own food or we can order pizza (in case bring pizza money)

Drinks are $.50 or bring your own.....

I guess for me there really isnt a choice, ive got a Mac, so geeking out it is haha!

Steam makes quite a few games Apple compatible.

You can always try bootcamp/Parallels. There's something called "Playonmac" that may help you as well. I run most of my Windows games on Linux using their Linux version, "Playonlinux". It's been working well for me.

Just a reminder that this is happening this weekend. =D

I got a new Box last weekend, still testing its stock $258 worth.

Nabbed some games and set up a server on a machine, been playing around with steam backups. Does anyone know if the restore or is it tied to your account? Figure this is worth looking in to instead of people having to download over our network.

ehe it was quiet, I worked on a FreeNAS system, its 80 gig hd is full already with just lan games. I tryed out the Steam restore and for me it worked flawlessly on the new PC i'm running. MicroVolts installed in just under 2 minutes.
