Tonight's topic is *Practical HTML, CSS, and JavaScript*
If you are brand new to HTML/CSS and have NOT worked through the Code
Academy Web Fundamentals track <http://www.codecademy.com/tracks/web>,
please at least get through the first couple of sections so you won't be
completely lost. You don't have to finish the entire track, and don't let a
lack of knowledge prevent you from showing up tonight.
When you arrive for the meeting tonight there will be an assignment ready
for you. You'll have until 8:30 PM to complete the assignment and then
we'll discuss the results among the group. You'll be able to work solo or
as a team. I'll help you through anything you get stuck on but this will
mostly be your project.
Since we had a low turnout for GitHub at the last meeting, if anyone would
like to go over or work through the GitHub tutorial I can help with that as
well.
