Hello

I am a WordML novice and try to better understand my WordML documents.

Where can I find a complete documentation of the WordML elements and
attributes.
- For example: Element 'w:wordDocument' takes an attribute called 'w:val'.
I could not yet find a description of this attribute that takes a URI as
value.
- Not an example: A have available the MS document 'Overview of WordML',
where I can find many answers, but not for attribute 'w:val' in element
'w:wordDocument' ...

This newsgroup is about XSLT and XPath, not about WordML.

If you want to find a complete documentation of the Office 2003 XML
formats then you need to download and study the schemas:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=FE118952-3547-420A-A412-00A2662442D9&displaylang=en

A better group for Office and XML related questions is
microsoft.public.office.xml.
