Can you please recommend a good free XML Editor on the net? There are so
many out there. Also, does Microsoft have one? thanks!

Thank you for the recommendation. Can you please give me the free link to
Visual Studio EE you mentioned. I located the following link to Visual
Studio Team System 2008 Team Suite --I found out that this software in MSDN
has a 90 day trial period. The other Microsoft related Visual Studio
software also have trial periods. Link:

http://www.microsoft.com/exPress/ --> link used

Hello, thank you for the link, I selected Visual Studio 2008 Express
Editions link. It was the same area that I used before. I selected "Explore
by Product", then "Visual Studio 2008" at the top; then select "Learn More";
then looked at " Visual Studio Team System 2008 Team Suite " on that page &
selected (try now link). I then selected to download : "Team System Team
Suite + Team Foundation Server VPC (Recommended)".

These products are all trials but I went ahead & downloaded. When opening
the download files it stated, ""To open this file, Windows needs to know what
program created it. What do you want to do?: 1) Use the Web service to find
the appropriate program or 2) Select the program from a List". I selected 1)
& did not know where to go. I selected 2) & did not know.
Please advise as I thought these Microsoft products were easily recognizable
when you launch them.

Thanks.

I followed that link, clicked download and was then asked to choose from one
of the express editions or a trial of the more advanced versions.
I don't know if you'll be using it for anything other than XML (such as VB
or C#) so you probably want the Web Edition.

Have you found Microsoft's XML Notepad?

I've only used it once, it seemed fine but I normally have no need for that
sort of editor.
