Yes, I am still using Works 4.5 for Windows that came with my first
computer - I tried a later version and really stuffed up my databases.
SO.... here's my problem:
I have a data base named MailingList which has arithmatic formulaes. I want
to work on two versions of this as I filter records so I 'save as'
Mailinglist COPY'. From this I delete all escept one record but when I try
to add records from my original database ('MailingList') the fomulaes do not
copy. I'll be buggered if I wanna type in years of data again to get these
formulaes operating. Funny thing is that if I type in a new record the
formulaes are there too!!! There should be an easy way around this and I go
thru it every year and spend a day re-entering several LONG intricate
data/formulaes such as this one:
=('TOTAL/99'+'TOTAL/00'+'TOTAL/RV'+'TOTAL/OF'+'TOTAL/01'+'TTL/Ofr01'+'TOTAL/02'+'TOTAL/03'+'TOTAL/04'+'TOTAL/05'+'TOTAL/06'+'TOTAL/07'+'TOTAL/08'+'TOTAL/09'+'TOTAL/10'+'TOTAL/11')

Any help appreciated. John in South Australia
