I have 3 old (1990-1992) floppy disks with Works .wdb files on them.
I'd like to capture the contents of the disks. I have no copies of Works
whatsoever.
My Office versions (2003 to 2010) won't go near the files, although I
can "see" text mixed in with the jumble of characters.
I've looked around for converters, but they seem rather pricey for 3
small files. I'd welcome any recommendation(s) for a sensible way to
deal with this problem.
TIA
Paul
You could consider trying Works database file convetor here, though I
have not tried this:
http://www.mydigitallife.info/2008/12/10/convert-microsoft-works-database-wdb-to-csv-or-excel-without-works-installed/
If you prefer, you may send the files to me for conversion and I'll return
asap.
Regards,
