Text Size on Labels

In MSWord 2002 when printing labels need to change print size. Trying to print labels (Avery 8167) for my Church. Label dimension is 1/2" x 1 3/4 ". Print is probably # 12 need it to be about # 8. Thanks. jdonaldal...@charter.net

Word highlighting colors

Is there a way to change the colors made available for text highlighting in Word? Is there a way to add colors made available for text highlighting? I find the available choices too bright. What I'd like is a range of colors with 'light pink' and 'very light pink' (for example). Even better would be a way to vary the transparency of the highlighting color.... more »

Autocorrect options do not stay same in template

I am using Word 2002 I make a template with no Autocorrect feature turned on in it and save it, and test it by creating new documents based on that template and see that every feature of that template is carried over. NUMPAGES macro

I have a document with several sections and want to include "Page x of y" in the footer. I want x =1 for the first page of each section (that I can do) and y= the number of pages in the particular section NOT in the entire document. This last part is what I am having trouble with. I've been using Microsoft apps for 27 years, and MS's attention to detail, and the consistency with which it adheres to its own (don't get me wrong--excellent) UI paradigms, is still for complete crap. Windows XP will not open a Wordpad file from Win 98 Wordpad, how freakin lame is Microsoft, I guess I will never hear from the job that I e-mailed my resume to if they can not open it, I did however find 98 Wordpad will open a doc from XP Wordpad, you talk about anti trust laws I think they should look at that!... more »
