This is not the proper forum for your tirade.
Files can be damaged in many different ways and you can read similar
whining about almost every program on every OS out there (including
those not made Microsoft). Your assumption that the software is
responsible for damaging your document needs some evidence to back it
up.
Also, complaining about a free application is amusing; it is not part
of the OS (but, rather a free addition) and it would be a severe
stretch to attempt to incorporate this into any anti-trust issue.
