Word Automation using VC++

Hi,

I want to parse a word document in VC++. The place where i got stuck is
"Images". I do not know how to retrieve/get/process the images present in a
word document. Is there any Word Automation COM API to do it?

I need to get the image in form of ASCII values and store in a database.

Please help ASAP

what version of word? why are you using word for this task? Trying to
parse and reuse elsewhere or...more info needed. Ususally deal with
images differently so more description needed - THNKS

And the short answer direct from MS engineering is NO but they are
happy to look into it as billable time:clap:. If you hae an MSDN
subscriptuon you can open a case but it takes longer to get down the
line (though likely to hit the same engineer).
