  Graham Mayor posted a macro that clears tables of leading and trailing spaces. &lt;br&gt; Before I could put it to the test, DeanH wrote that he experienced failure &lt;br&gt; of this macro, which was then attributed to merged cells. &lt;br&gt; Doug Robbins then posted a macro to find merged cells, and then to manually &lt;br&gt; do whatever is required.

  I have the same problem. I have checked: &lt;br&gt; 1. wrap not set &lt;br&gt; 2. table width the same &lt;br&gt; 3. table position on page (eg indent, left margin) is the same &lt;br&gt; The symptom of the problem is that the line where the two tables meet is &lt;br&gt; wavy instead of being straight &lt;br&gt; Happy New Year/gary

  I generally avoid nested tables, but they may be the least-work option for &lt;br&gt; you. Make a three-column, one-row table. Put one of your tables into each &lt;br&gt; cell. &lt;br&gt; Pam

  <title type="text">Converting Tables to Text macro</title>

  I have a macro I&#39;m starting to have trouble with. I copy a one-column MS &lt;br&gt; Access query result. Then in Word, it pastes it in to a doc as RTF, goes to &lt;br&gt; the end of the doc, moves up one row and converts the table to text. &lt;br&gt; The macro is erroring out because the &amp;quot;object doesn&#39;t refer to a table.&amp;quot; If &lt;br&gt; I go into the doc and see where the cursor is, it&#39;s at the bottom of the doc
