Graham Mayor posted a macro that clears tables of leading and trailing spaces.
Before I could put it to the test, DeanH wrote that he experienced failure
of this macro, which was then attributed to merged cells.
Doug Robbins then posted a macro to find merged cells, and then to manually
do whatever is required.

I have the same problem. I have checked:
1. wrap not set
2. table width the same
3. table position on page (eg indent, left margin) is the same
The symptom of the problem is that the line where the two tables meet is
wavy instead of being straight

Hi everybody
I would like to use word to design a simple table. I would like to add a
keywords field, and wish I was able to make keyword queries.
Is that possible, and if yes what is the easier way to go about it?

I generally avoid nested tables, but they may be the least-work option for
you. Make a three-column, one-row table. Put one of your tables into each
cell.

If it is the only table in the document, use
ActiveDocument.Tables(1).Conve rtToText
or if there is more than one and this is the last table, use:

You should define and use styles. Then all that you need to do is modify
the style and the changes will be applied to all instances of it. That may
be too late in your case and if so, the only other alternative might be to

Is the same font/font size used for all of the text in all of the cells in

We have the same problem and NOTHING seems to fix it. Is it possible the
tables are just corrupt? The documents are very long and very table heavy.
Tried the cell margins, tried space before and after, tried making sure that
we were actually filling the cells. The only "solution" that we've found is

Converting Tables to Text macro

I have a macro I'm starting to have trouble with. I copy a one-column MS
Access query result. Then in Word, it pastes it in to a doc as RTF, goes to
the end of the doc, moves up one row and converts the table to text.
The macro is erroring out because the "object doesn't refer to a table." If
I go into the doc and see where the cursor is, it's at the bottom of the doc
