add custom page borders ??

hi is there any way to add custom art to page borders .
if i click
format > borders and shading > and then page borders and then in the art
ther are some defauluts art work can i add art of my own to these

Hi, Ahsan,

No, Microsoft has never made it possible to change or add to the selection
of border art. The only workaround is to create a complete page border in a
graphics program, save it as a file, and insert that in Word as a watermark
or as a picture "behind text" so that it looks like it surrounds the page.

No, Word does not allow you to create custom Border Art. Publisher does. You
can create custom borders by hand, however, and anchor them to the header
paragraph so they will repeat on each page.

Incidentally, although cross-posting is far preferable to multi-posting,
some of the NGs you have posted this to (notably word.international.features
and probably customization.menustoolbars) are not really appropriate for
this post. It's generally advisable not to cross-post to more than three
NGs.
