Could be a macro virus that is messing with your Normal.Dot template. Try
using some Virus Protection Software. Another option is to change the
attribute on the Normal.Dot file to Read Only which is what I do. Or you
could make a copy of the Normal.Dot template in some other directory and
then if the one that is being used gets corrupted, replace it with the copy.
